Z..."D9-
(the mouth of Emily Creek) this spot always produces lots of
muskie by drifting down towards the bridge in the middle and
casting white spinner baits along the cabbage beds, and if water
level permits going under the bridge and fishing the stumps and
slop of Emily Creek.
C9 & C10 (straight out from Scotch line) there is a boat launch here and
up around the island is a good spring and fall walleye spot where
hair jigs ripped thru the weeds usually produces.
J2, J3,
K2 & K3 (in Goose bay) this is where the Scugog river joins Sturgeon lake
and a hot spot for bass fishing, lots of tournament fishermen concentrate
in this area as there is lots of slop and a good spot to throw
rats and moss bosses around.
F3 (the shoreline
north of Long Beach marine) this is a good walleye spot as there
are several humps out about 100 yards off shore and the depth is
about 15 feet and fairly weedy, use jig/grub combo or hair
jigs tipped with a minnow. "

B says..."Smallmouth
in J2..using plastic worms and floating crankbaits -- jitterbugs,
etc.
Pickerel (call them Walleye if you want) in G2 and G3...using
worms on spinners while drifting, or casting toward shore (be
mindful of the recent weed beds while choosing your lure), or
plastic worms on jigs.
Cliff says..."I3 & J3
Muskie, walleye, and small mouth. Fish the weed line where the
water depth changes from about 5 or 6 feet to about 8 to 10 feet
deep for walleye and muskie. Fish holes in the weeds for small
mouth." |
