It's the
fish-hawk
showwwww

The Fish-Hawk Show is all original material - you won't find it anywhere else but Fish-Hawk.Net.

Apart from the material developed and published by Fish-Hawk.Net, there are also many Anglers in our community who have written and submitted Fishing Stories of there own. We have captured these stories and you are welcome to view them from within our Community Fishing Stories Forum. Enjoy!

The Quintessential Quinte
Quintessential - that word means champion, classical, consummate, definitive, distinguished, esthetic, excellent, exemplary, famous, fine, finest, first-rate, flawless, ideal, master, model. The Bay of Quinte was all of that for our October 2005 trip. Forty-nine anglers experienced some of the best walleye fishing that the planet has to offer.
The Convention at Laurentian
Our largest outing ever - 50 anglers joined us at Laurentian View Resort near Westmeath on the Ottawa River. It was the walleye and pike season opener and after a long winter every angler was itching to get fishing...
Rainbow and Brown Trout on the Niagara River
We used three-way swivel rigs to catch beautiful lake trout, rainbows and brown trout on this day in early March. What a treat to get on the open water!

Trophy Walleye on the Bay of Quinte
Wow! Every fall we get pictures of guys with walleye from the Bay of Quinte. We had to go ourselves to make sure that the walleye were not the products of a Photo Shop expert. After reading this story you will know why we're believers.
2005 Petrie Island "Fun on Ice" Fishing Derby
Once again in 2005 Fish-Hawk.Net and Petrie Island Baint & Tackle hosted our 2nd Annual Ice Fishing Derby. This derby has been designed to raise money in support for the Christie Lake Camp for children. We held our first Ice Fishing Derby in 2004, and will continue to do so over the next few years. It's a great cause and once again a great time had by all.
Bassin' for Bucks
It's early October and the tournament bass fishing season is winding down. The Bassin' for Bucks Derby on Mississippi Lake in Eastern Ontario is hosted by Baitcasters Tackle Shop. It attracts many tournament and recreational anglers, with a format that keeps pulses elevated all day...

Snag Goes Wacky at Caiger's
We went bass fishing on the St. Lawrence River and learned a thing or two about bass fishing and rigging worms wacky-style.

Memoires from Muskrat
34 guys, 5 cottages, 6 tents, one big honkin campfire, guitars, stories, fishing, deep fried turkey, new friends, and windy days. The formula for a fantastic fishing adventure.
2004 Petrie Island Ice Derby
In support for the Christie Lake Camp for children, 2004 started off with a bang. We held our first Ice Fishing Derby to raise funds in order to send some children to summer camp. It was a great success, raising over $3000. Click this story to see some the great times had by all.
Late Fall Smallmouth Bass on Muskrat Lake
Look at that beauty! There's more where that came from and with the help of our guide for the day, Pepe....Fish-hawk, Bobber, and Slyfox learned a few things on how to catch smallmouth bass in late fall.

Fish'n Canada Take me Fishing Tour
Please join Fish-Hawk, Bobber, and friends as we show you what fishing is all about. We had the distinct pleasure of joining Reno Viola, Peter Bowman, and Big Jim McLaughlin in promoting the Walmart Outdoor Family Fun Tour. Fishing is more than just a sport...it's a great way to meet new friends, learn lots, and most importantly....have fun!

Return to Pinecrest
Thirty guys from all over Ontario joined us on our sequel adventure to Pinecrest Lodge on the Ottawa River...and once again the Ottawa River produced some great fishing...

Fish-Hawk.Net Goes to the Big Show...
Have we got a product that is going to be of interest to anglers at the 2003 Ottawa Boat, Sportsmen's and Cottage Show? We sure do!

What it Takes For a Trophy Musky on the Ottawa River
I trolled with Ottawa River musky guide Richard Collin for a day and learned that there is a lot more to trolling for the giants than going for a ride in a boat...

The Northern Pike of Pinecrest Lodge
With the steep hills of Ontario and Quebec on either side, this section of the Ottawa River plays host to some huge pike and walleye (pickeral) and breath-taking scenery.  Toss in the hospitality of Pinecrest Lodge and you have the formula for adventure...

Steelhead Trout Fishing on the Ganaraska River
We used small earthworms, trout roe sacs, and floats to present a tasty morsel to trout that were making their spring journey up the river from Lake Ontario.

Peter the Party Animal
Peter sleeps in after partying hard at the new neighbours but still shows up with enough time to perform CPR (Catch Photo Release) on a couple of muskies.  He tried hard, and failed, not to gloat...

Conversations Overheard on the Day of Eight
Eight muskies that is.  This episode of the Fishhawk Show is venturing into new territory by giving you a candid glimpse of our insanity.  The talking can get pretty animated when fishing for muskies here in Eastern Ontario, Canada.

On Friendship
This one's about muskie fishing with my buddy who was visiting from Vancouver - his life has been changed forever...

The Cock-a-Doodie
A Cock-a-Doodie is someone who complains to his buddies that he doesn't want to go muskie fishing but happily catches a couple anyway - then he whistles just a little too loudly all the way home...

This is Part Three of Mike & Rob on the BAOO tournament circuit.  Team Fishhawk is in 33rd place overall in the standings but a strong showing at Mississippi Lake can see them close in on a Championship birth.

Part One: The Warm-Up

There is so much great material from the 2000 muskie season that we decided to turn it into a dramatic mini-series.  There is not a lot of things that match muskie fishing for drama.

steelhead fishing pictures story Lake Ontario, Wilmot Creek, Ontario Canada

The Wilmot Rooster
Some people have told me that this is a very, very funny story.  I, on the other hand, fail to see what is so humorous about being assaulted by a rooster while fishing on the side of the famous Wilmot Creek.  This is the play-by-play account I gave to the RCMP.

The Great Ottawa Valley
Muskie Showdown

Wow!  The fish of a thousand casts, of a hundred miles trolled, of a school of 12 inch sucker minnows twitched through weedy drop-offs.  This is the battle between Team Fish-Hawk and the Wendover Muskie Madmen (John 'n Gil).

A Crappie Time on the Rideau
What do you do when its been a long winter, the temperature hits 30 Celsius, and there is still a week before the walleye/pike season opener?  The itch to fish is real bad and catching a zillion crappie is just the scratch.
