|
With all this warm weather and my 2007 Tourney boat sitting at the dealers I was itching to get out on the water. Last week my local Tracker dealer ' George's Marine and Sports' worked extra hard to rig my boat and get it ready so I could break in the big motor and get out fishing. I spent the afternoon Saturday running around Mississippi Lake breaking in the OptiMax.
New boat just before hitting the water.
Sunday was time for the new boat to catch some fish and understand what walleye fishing is all about. Early Sunday morning I made the trip down with good friends Paul and Marky. We went 15 for 16 walleye for the day and the boat handled like a dream.
Big fish of the day went to Paul - 14lbs and a huge belly.
The boat understands what 'big' walleye are and what I expect in the future. Also a special thanks to the staff at George's Marine and Sports for getting the boat ready during snow machine season.

I have that on my to-do list, but I need to figure out which font to use as the boat has about 15 different font treatments.

| Congradulations Eye-Tracker - I know exactly how you feel as I can still remember when I first picked up my dream ride - my wife said I was so high my feet were off the ground. What I don't understand is your inside connections to obtain this weather, I believe you are the one who requested NO WINTER - and it looks like your getting your wish. Seriously I 'm very happy for you Sheldon, and as a matter of interest, my first trip home with my boat with my brothers, we caught our limit of ol' marble eyes, and my brother wanted to name my boat "No Excuse" as in no excuse for not catching fish!!. MAY SPRING COME EARLY !!! |
