For salmon I'd suggest a slightly heavier cannonball maybe 12 lbs. You will likely be trolling a little faster for Kings. Probably 2.3 - 3.5 MPH. Similar action on Big Rideau. Three of us boated a number of fish. All caught downrigging. Mostly caught at 120-140 FOW. Kept a few eaters for a fish fry Saturday evening. Most fish on the smaller side. Biggest in 2 days fishing was about 5 lbs.

Quinte Walleyes

Just letting everybody know walleyes are hitting well in Quinte. Limited in no time yesterday in Hay Bay. Lots of small fish but great for the frying pan.

West Quinn Lake. Not in the park but in the Madawaska Highlands area. Used to be stocked with specs. MNR changed to browns about 3 or 4 years ago. I've fished it when they stocked it with specs. It's along ways back in the bush. You will want an atv and still have to walk a bit.
