Re: Salmon from Shore

I'm equally amazed and delighted to see members offering other members specific information about catching fish. It seems to me that on the few occasions I've asked others for help that my request has been ignored. As a result I became a little jaded about this forum over time when it appeared that...

Re: float tube question

Beavers not the problem but I have been chased 3x by snappers.. Mind you, I am on the water more than most. Noone else I know has had this happen. Also had a loon swim under me. That was scary when you know how they deal with rivals, LOL. WRT snappers, just paddle away as fast as you can. They even...

Re: Anyone fished Findlay Creek?

Anyone who walks the creek feel free to chip in on picking up any amount of garbage, its pretty sad to see a creek with potential being polluted and developed so heavily and still being stocked. i can remember one day in particular when i happened to be walking by with my dog on Blais side roa...

Re: Trout fishing

Bottle Lake has been deemed no longer "stockable" for Specks as someone put Largemouth Bass in the lake, don't waste your time. Sad as that is where I caught my first Speck ever. RJ there's a bunch of here'say in the area also about a fellow who bought half the property down around the ba...
