3 Pike and a Phantom Muskie Follow:

Well we got out on Moira lake to look for some big Muskie Sunday morning at 8am. My fishing partner was ten minutes late and I anxiously watched as three Muskie rigs put in ahead of me, but he did manage a peace offering, my favourite Timmies coffee, so I forgave him. We hit the windy west side of t...

Nice colourful Muskie and pretty FAT for its length.
I haven't seen a redhorse snag-hooked like that ever....weird accidental hook up.
I once hooked a really nice walleye on a topwater buzzbait under a bridge on Chemung Lake. That would be my weirdest hook up.

I take it you're shore fishing most of the time? I fish Muskie exclusively (from a boat) and always have my Hummingbird going. Electronics don't necessarily see the targeted gamefish. I use it as eyes under the water to let me see bottom depth, contour, weed structure and bait fish. It is just a too...

Finally Another Muskie Outing:

Buddy Jeremy and I are heading out on Sunday(17th) morning again to look for some biguns. Been reading other posts and talking to my other muskie pals and not many are seeing any big fish this year by the sounds of it. I've only seen four over the 42" mark all season. By this time last year I h...

Nice toothy critters.
WOW that first pic must have been quite a while ago, I have had my shorts or tank tops on for some time now.
More like my toque, boots and gloves.

I'm a certified welder and would say to fix it that way for sure. But as stated, make sure that they are well experienced in aluminum welding as it can make all the difference. Aluminum is probably one of the most challenging metals to weld, but done correctly it will be stronger than the surroundin...

Craig you crack me up. Sounds just like the kinda thing I would say to the wife too. As for the line. I use mostly braided now and just cut off the poor looking stuff on each reel until I have to tie more on. I use mono backer on all of my baitcasters. Saves on more expensive braided. The mono is on...

Thanks Scotty(how'd you do that?...lol). Thanks Drop-shot. I'm always impressed with buddy Jeremy's fishing talent and knowledge on the sport. He's a true fisherman and a truly nice guy. Unfortunately we were out Sunday morning again without even a follow. We did have a few small pike interested, bu...

Anyways, Moira Lake gave up that fish to my buddy Jeremy on his first time out on the lake. He just moved up here 4 months ago too.
Would you believe it? Talk about luck. I was happy for him and we know there are bigger fish out there.

Sorry, guess I didn't post it correctly.
It's not easy to post pics on here since you need an external website link and all my pics are on the hard drive or burned.

Thanks guys. We'll fill the big net again. Were heading out again on Sunday Morning. Supposed to be a cold morning though, 0 degrees and a high of 12 for the daytime temp. Better get my skivvies on...lol. I would have been out again sooner but I just got married and have to go to our after-wedding p...

Here's a pic of my Buddies fish he got last month on one of our fav lakes. He got her on a boobie-trap spinner and figure eight at boatside. Fish went ballistic and airbourne after hookset. WOW, Exciting! 49" long and 27lbs. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs322.ash2/60267_103877766...

Looks cool hanging there in the water beside the net.
