Just wanted to thank the Honda Civic and the Ford Ranger for the show at SB yesterday... It all started with a foot of loose packed snow on the launch, a bunch of bad snow drifts, and a warning from buddies on the ice: "Park and walk-on!" Apparently, this guy didn't get the memo... the Civ...

Been there plenty of times, but never with a boat. I know the area very well... staying with in-laws. Any lakes or launches to recommend?

I will be visiting the Blind River area from July 22nd to 27th. Would love to find a fishing buddy to show me around, and help keep me out of trouble. I've got a small aluminium bass boat, so I can go anywhere... but I feel small on big water on windy days, so I would prefer smaller lakes or rivers....
