Dick Bell Launch Ramp
Took a drive to Dick Bell yesterday to see if the ramp was open... The docks are there but have not been put in place as of yesterday. There is a sign saying that you can walk through the park but all of the amenities are closed. Also saw three empty boat trailers in the parking lot. Don't know if t...

Re: Fishing during outbreak?
Be patient boys, I to am going stir crazy as I am sure everybody is. Use the time to get all your gear in order but stay home. I have already re-built my trailer, new bearings, new rollers, and a fresh paint job. It now looks like new again. Just waiting for some warmer weather and will re-paint my ...

Re: Dick Bell
Agreed, do yourself and everybody else a favour, STAY HOME. I bought a new boat at the end of last year,
now I might not be able to use it. It might be a long while but better to be safe than dead... Billy Bones

Re: Sonar with Navionics plus and downscan.
Thanks for the input guys, ended up with a Lowrance Hook2 5inch Splitshot with down imaging and Navionics. Don't know
what I am going to do with the down imaging but I will give it a try. It should go great on my 12 Princecraft.

Re: Sonar with Navionics plus and downscan.
Thanks for the input Out for Trout, I think we have fished together a few times, a few years ago with Mike P. I do some vertical jigging for Lakers. One of the features that I have on my old Lowrance X67 is that I can zoom in on the water column, say 50 to 80 feet, depending on where the fish are ho...

Sonar with Navionics plus and downscan.
This might not be the right forum for this question but here goes. I am thinking of upgrading my sonar,I have a Lowrance X67 that has served me well for years. I am thinking about a Lowrance Hook2 5 or 7 inch with navionics plus, chirp transducer, and downscan. I don't know a lot about downscan imag...

First Muskie for Christopher
Took my youngest grandson Christopher for some Muskie fishing. I warned him that they were very difficult to catch.
Not to be denied we accomplished our goal for the day. Not very big but a Muskie just the same.

Re: Navionics US and Canada Boating App
Hi Ya Terry
Yes all three devices are set up in feet. Navionics contacted me and told me to reset to factory specs. Have
done so but have yet to give it a try. Was supposed to go out this morning, but the weather didn't co-operate.

Re: Welcome to Perth Boat Rentals!
Hello RJ
Rented a boat from these guys for a week in July. The boat, motor and trailer was perfect and did the
job for our family vacation on Lake Clear.

Navionics US and Canada Boating App
The idea behind this APP is fantastic, I bought it for the convenience of use. I also have an old Lowrance H20C hand held GPS unit that is equipped with a Gold MMC card of the East Great Lakes with hydrographic charts. The Lowrance H20C equipped with the Gold MMC card is very accurate, when checked ...

Kasshabog Lake
Has anybody tried Kasshabog Lake just north of Havalock. Rented a cottage for a family vacation and was wondering about the fishing.
The fishing is actually secondary, there will be 10 of us together.

Re: Green Lake
I have fished Green for Lakers, all small fish. Best method is 5 feet above the fish, verticle jigging. Kastmasters and Swedish pimples, small ones.
