I finished school in August, so I would've been a student.

Now, I'm back at home with the folks, and can't find a job to save my life, lol.

Don't listen to rich. Mine was acting up because I dropped it.

JFish, I went to the Abu Garcia website, and looked up their licenced repairers. If the reel's less than a year old, it might be covered under the warranty.

JFish,

Who makes it? You can possibly send it to the manufacturer. Thats what I did with my Abu Garcia bait caster.

Those were a couple of nice fish. What lake were you on? My laker came out of a lake off of highway 8 just west of huntsville.

Scuro, my line wasn't even set. The flatfish was just sitting on the top of the water with the bottom probably 40 feet down. What that little pesky bass was doing I have no idea. The lure was about as big as he was.

Nice laker...and on a frog flatfish... :? :? I hear everyone saying you have to use Sutton spoons for Lakers. Hey whatever works 8) I too have a couple kiwifish lures in my tacklebox...silver and blue. Doubt I will be able to find flatfish before I head up next weekend. Those lures move like an SOB...

Thanks guys, Wolfe, the insomnia seems to be gone. I'm just checking in before I go to bed, there's no stress to keep me up, lol. Hence the late time I'm on. If I'm on late again, it's because I'm too damn hot. Bear, I've never seen him get up so fast when I ran into his and my mom's room that morni...

Rich, The Kwikfish is good, but I find the Flatfish is better. The Flatfish using gang hooks (a spreader bar [wire] holding two smaller hooks away from the body of the lure instead of a larger single front hook) gives the Flatfish a wider wobble, and becomes more enticing. The spreader bar also give...

Braeside, It's a private lake near Huntsville. It's stocked every year by Sir Sanford Fleming College with Rainbows, and it has natural Rainbows, Speckles, Lakers, and the very, very elusive Brown.
