JFish, I went to the Abu Garcia website, and looked up their licenced repairers. If the reel's less than a year old, it might be covered under the warranty.

Who makes it? You can possibly send it to the manufacturer. Thats what I did with my Abu Garcia bait caster.

Those were a couple of nice fish. What lake were you on? My laker came out of a lake off of highway 8 just west of huntsville.

Scuro, my line wasn't even set. The flatfish was just sitting on the top of the water with the bottom probably 40 feet down. What that little pesky bass was doing I have no idea. The lure was about as big as he was.
