can't catch bass

Well I'd love to get into this one, cause there's acres of this stuff on Lower Rideau. BUT I've fished it, without any luck. I've used sluggos in the middle and spinnerbait's on the edge and caught 1 tiny pike. unless someone was there before me, but I didn't see anyone. I couldn't catch a bass for ...

blow em' up

I used to blow up my worms all the time in Quinte. I'd probably drift over this point a few times with a worm on a pink & white jig head. Or I'd troll it with a bottom bouncer and a worm harness. I'd definitely use jigs for smallies. (one jig that's always worked good for me is the black foxee j...

I'd try pink

I like using white cause I can follow the lure back to the boat, I love seeing the strikes, I'd try the pink though, My best color worm would be motor oil by far, never had any luck with black even though it's suppose to be one of the best, maybe I haven't really given it a chance.

what time is it?

I'd have one rod with a spinnerbait rigged and ready, but my first cast would be a big white slugo, don't know why but they work like crazy for me almost every time.

It depends, for largemouth I use 100% artificial. for smallies It's about 75%live bait, but I usually fish for smallies in small river with a slip bobber.
