I have tried many brands in my time. However I currently have a Trojan deep cycle battery that has been in use for 7 seasons and is still going strong. I fished 3 times aweek on average for 5 years. I would not hesitate to put another trojan battery for deep cycle or a starting type in my boat....La...

I would also like to see the motor running before I bought it. Also I am wondering what style of boat you are putting a 25 h.p. motor on a 14' boat. If it is a standard fishing boat i think that motor would be overkill for it. I once had a 14' boat with an 18 h.p. motor and it would fly! I'm just tr...

lower unit

Instead of teflon tape on the screws change the fibre 'o' rings each time you change the lube. This will assure you of a proper seal....larry

Guys there are LARGE walleye being taken south of the picton ferry. The area is actually at the south end of long reach near the channel that heads east towards the lennox generating station. I was reading this on the quinte board...Larry
