Boosterman, You can charge batterys that way. Depending on the rate of charge it could take a while depending on how discharged the battery is. Also you should not charge a deep cycle battery while on the fly because they are meant to be completely charged to full. Chances are in the boat you wouldn...

I purchased the boat from the legend distributor company Duhamel and Dewer in sudbury. It is powered with a 60hp mercury 2 stoke engine. My only problem...

winter

WIG,
It would be better to replace the engine oil in the fall before you store the boat. The combustion process creates acids that are in the oil. Leaving the motor oil in place can have a negative effect on the internal engine parts. It's one less thing to have to get done in the spring also...Larry

TYhere arer a number of products on the market you can use. Any Fogging oil will work well. You can spray it in tjust as the last bit of fuel is being burned off the motor. Then I would disconnect the spark plug wires and spray fogging oil into each cylinder and crank over for a few seconds to distr...

lower unit

Jebby, If the motor was running ok before you hit the rock and now it won't go into gear there must be a problem with the linkage in the lower unit. It is a simple linkage but may be bent or brocken. Check all the fuel line connections, clamps first. it may help with the running issue. A new fuel li...

lower unit

Are you sure it is lower unit? It could just be some exhaust gas fluid leaking out after usage. If your motor was tilted down it can leak out. Try tilting the motor up and see if you get any more fluid. If it leaks in the up position I would first check to see if the washer on the drain hole is in g...
