Kanata Honda

Anyone have any experience getting their outboard serviced at Kanata Honda? Its close as heck, so its being considered for my fall annual maintenance consisting of PT inspection, lower end and oil inspection, oil change, fogging, etc. Just wondering if i'm better off with a true marina/marine mechan...

Drift socks

So I headed out today for Muskie on the Headpond, and saw someone camping in a trailer, with their jon boat in the water at Clay Bank launch. Pretty wierd. Anyways, to my question, there was almost whitecaps on the water at 530am, so we sat there in the dark, and pondered what to do. I'll fish in th...

Reading the book is one thing, but sometimes an instructor can make things that much more clear.

Sections of the clyde that flow through Lanark are stocked with Brookies. The Clyde headpond, which flows to Flower Round, to Widow lake, to Joe's lake and onward once becoming the Clyde river has Largies, Smallies, Walleye, and Pike that I've caught. I've heard rumours of Muskie too. Its a beauty o...

When you put the fillet on top of the plank, since it has onions on it, can I assume skin up, meat down?

Another 6.5 million liters into the river. I fished Petrie island with my boat last year, and had a huge slick that I had to remove with spray-nine. I'd hate to see the slick floating around out there now. And to think, this spill wasn't even related to rainfall..... Last I heard, we've dumped 700 m...

Assuming you're launching out of Burnstown beach, if you head to the left from the launch, across the far side, there is a hidden shoal that comes up from 70ft to 2ft, watch for it. If you head to the right towards Calabogie, try around the bridge pillings, decent success there in the past. I've nev...
