Hi Kev, I do not believe there is a public launch there. If this is the lac Donaldson just above Buckingham. I have a buddy that lives on that lake and it is entirely surrounded by private property I do believe. Best of luck.

Re: Rain suits
Yes Butch the choosing should be fun. It would appear that as long as you go with the better well known brands you won't be sorry. You get what you pay for. I believe at this point it is a matter of personal choice. Thanks again folks and may your lines always be taught. Cheers UL If I ain't fishing...

Re: Rain suits
First of all thanks again for your insight lads. Much appreciated. I don't mind making the investment as long as the product is worth it. Definitly can't concentrate on the task at hand if cold and wet. Butch, which model of suit do you have. Frabill is a consideration. Zeke, glad to hear about the ...

Re: Rain suits
Well gentlemen thank you very much for your input. You have certainly given me alternatives to mull over. It is a major investment. You need to be comfortable on those miserable days. I also like to use them in the late fall with layers under them. They act as a good wind break. Anyways thanks again...

Rain suits
Gi'day gents. I am thinking of buying a new rain suit. I have been looking at the new Shimano Dryfender 3t and the Viking line of suits. I figure the best way to find out about suits is to go to the guys that are wearing them. So I ask you, what suits are you wearing and what do you think of them? T...

Hi mlamothe. Going over the 416 bridge the Rideau is frozen from shore-line out to main channel. Can't see the Kars ramp but would suspect it is the same. The Kemptville Creek is frozen over so I would suspect the creek that the Kars ramp is on would also be. Just take along a good Ice Pick. Cheers UL

Gid'ay ady. I don't want to be a fly in the ointment, but personally I don't think I would want an all in one piece of equipment. If one part breaks you have to send in both for the repair or if the broken part is not repairable you end up replacing something that isn't broken also. For me I would b...

Waters of Fitzroy Harbour
Gid'ay guys, it has been a while. My son is fishing Fitzroy this weekend and launching from the provincial park. Firstly are there any water hazzards he needs to watch for in that area and secondly are there any decent areas to target for bass around there? Thanks in advance.
Cheers

Hi Ady, I've been using a Trojan from Total for three years now and it still kicks _ss. To find out how big a battery you need and what you need in reserve hours go to the Minkota website. It will give you the formula to use to figure out all that good stuff. Not hard just essential. Take care and c...
