I noticed that you work at the Chaudiere.

Are you allowed to fish at the bottom of the Eddy falls / dam?
Can you walk around down there?

Thanks.

One more question. If you are allowed to launch a boat from the QC side, and fish with an ON license, but cannot shore fish from QC with an ON license, how does this apply if you are wading, from the QC side with an ON license? Just being a pain in the @ss really. I'll likely pick up both licenses (...

On rivers where it has been common for commercial activity (logging mostly) like the Ottawa, Petawawa, Gatineau, Coulonge etc it is not uncommon for property to be given/owned right up to the current waterline, whether hi or low. I think its called millway, or ...

My buddy, while trolling from a canoe in Algonquin park, actually caught a seagull. he must have beengoing too fast for the sponn because it was on or very close to the surface. He spotted the gull, circling around and started hauling his line in as fast as he could but the gull swooped down and man...

Ive fished from my kayak an a few occasions. What would you like to know. Most of it is common sense really. -2 or three part rod -small tackle box -clips for net and pliers on PFD -If you're in moving water I'd put a clip on my paddle as well. Ive fished from my whitewater boat which is only 6'4&qu...

Now its just a guess, but it seems to me that if you were fishing international waters, you would be subject to the laws that govern them, and therefore either governing body would have the right to check if you are legal. Obviously you wouldn't have to have a US and CDN licence but I wouldn't be up...
