Re: Fish Ingesting Soft Plastics

Im a die hard bass angler and I dispose of my plastics properly. When one gets ripped or torn I throw it in a pile on the bottom of the boat then discard them when I get back to shore. I think its not the serious bass anglers that have a great effect on this as some may think. I believe it would be ...

Re: Swim Baits

Soft swimbaits are one of the most universal multi species baits out there. You can buy them in various sizes to accommodate your needs. They can literally be used almost anywhere for any species. I use the New Jackall Rhythm Waves in 3.8" for swim jig trailers, chatterbait trailers, rigged wit...

Lake Champlain 2nd Annual Fishing Trip May 6th-9th

Hey guys so on May 6th-9th was our annual Lake Champlain fishing trip. I made the drive from Kitchener to Ottawa on the 5th to meet my brother and Bobby Jordan. We left at 4am and met up with 3 other boats. Mark Boroweicki of the Ottawa Senators was one of them. We got to the ramp finally after 4 or...

Re: Lake Champlain Impressions...CnR Bass Fishing.

He yeveryone I was there from the 6-9th of May and there was tons of small fish in the 1 pound to 2 pound range. We had to move out of those specific areas to locate big fish. There is a very good population of small fish on Champlain. RJ must of just found quality fish where he was, which looks lik...

Re: Lake Champlain Impressions...CnR Bass Fishing.

Last year when we went at the South end in 2 1/2 days we caught well over 120+ fish many being i nthe 2lb-3lb range as well as many 3lb-4lb as well. All the smaller fish are usually real shallow spawning. We were getting the smaller bass in 4ft- inches of water mostly in back bays or creeks. I didnt...

Re: Trolling motors

Hey what I meant was the US2 cable thats connects to the US2 connector was touching the trolling motor power cable so what I believed was it was throwing interference that way. After I separated them with some wire sleeves the black plastic covers I didnt have the issue anymore. Terrova 80/US2 W/Ipi...

Re: Trolling motors

Ive used the US2 on the Maxxum, Maxxum Pro, Fortrex and Terrova and al lhave worked flawlessly. I truly believe you will regret not getting it for the little extra money it is. The only time I had issues was interference and all I had to do was separate the cables more and it worked fine. It beats h...

Re: Trolling motors

The Terrova is the best selling electric steer motor in North America. Its got a sturdier mount, easier to use foot pedal, easier deployment and stow mechanism. And you can use both the remote and pedal at the same time if needed unlike the Powerdrive series. If you go Motorguide youve made the deci...

Re: Baitcaster vs Spinning Reels

Theres no right or wrong to this.. I actually used to like trolling better wit ha baitcaster over a spinning there was always less line twist. Especially if your trolling with crawler harnesses or inline spinners. Baitcasters have better cranking power but less quality drags. They are basically a wi...

Re: What was your first baitcasting rod & reel?

Mines kinda a humorous story but a learning curve I worked my butt off delivering papers and saved up over $200 for one.. I ended up buying an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Anti Backlash reel. I soon learned it was a gimmick and it actually took away 50-60% of your distance when casting. I was a kid with n...

Re: Sonar Recording Files – Humminbird Autochart

Carlos If I were you Id look at it in the exact opposite situation. This Humminbird AC program gives you the opportunity to have maps "NO ONE" else has. If anyone else has started making their own maps like you have I dont see them jumping up and saying take my maps. Even if you have Nav+ ...
