I went through a similar exercise this time last year and after many hours of research the notes below are the end product that I sent out the other three guys in our group. We ended up going to Wildewood Lodge on Savant Lake and did catch trophy pike. If you are not interested in Lake Trout I think...

RIDEAU MUSKY FISHING LAST WEEKEND

I had some friends up for a weekend of musky fishing last weekend including "aguynamedchad". It was a beautiful day to be out on the water and we managed to catch 5 musky but only one that was a decent size. http://www.fish-hawk.net/photogallery/albums/userpics/normal_MUSKY_-_APPROX_33LB__...

The Causeway near the Wolfe Island Ferry can be really good, particularly for walleye in the evening (after the season opens that is) Also if you take the ferry over to Wolfe Island fish right at the ferry dock. The signs say no fishing but nobody ever seems to bother anyone there and it is good for...

I sent you a PM Gosse. This is a good walleye fishing area with most large bodies of water having fairly good quantities of walleye. You can also check with the MNR offices in either Kemptville or Pembroke and they will also give you good information. Good Luck!!!!!

Thanks Dave, that was a big help and real close to home as well 8) I used to host a large bullhead feed every spring but when I moved from the Kingston area to Kemptville I got away from it so I am looking forward to giving it a shot again. :D

Thanks again

BULLHEADS IN THE RIDEAU?????

A friend wants me to take him out shore fishing for some bullheads on Friday and I have never fished them in the Ottawa area since moving to Kemptville a few years ago. Anyone got any "non-secret" bullhead spots they would be willing to pass along :?:

That was a great report Saskie.... Althought your day was not going well it is nice to see it turned into a good humourous report as it seems to sometimes get too intense on the site.

Thanks, it started my Sunday off with a smile :D

Sounds like a real good approach Bruin 8) Myself, I am too lazy and besides it is always great to visit Lisa and Dan at Manotick bait. I get some minnows, great conversation and information on what is biting, where and on what and then I head out all motivated to catch a fish.
