I have to agree with Teppy. As long as their resting evenly and there’s no bend in the rod for whatever the reason, I think they’ll be fine. That's also the way I interpreted Fenwick's response.

That may have been true in the past Steve but with today’s rods I’m not so sure that still holds. I could be wrong, I’m no expert. But I’ve not had one warped that I can tell by storing them this way. Besides, I keep breaking them on fishing trips long before they have a chance to warp. :lol...

Depending on the day I have way to many or not enough :lol:. Check out this Special Limited Edition Cabela’s hardcopy catalog I received yesterday. I didn't know I bought that much stuff :lol:. A card came with it and said they sent out a lot of them to their customers. I’ve never seen a hardcop...

Thanks WIG, you would think the 4 strokes are quite but when you watch and listen to Honda's video it sounds rather loud. Noise is important to me. Not trying to hi-jack your post Kpin just wanted you to know that it is possible to catch and beach big fish from a canoe and it's a heck of a lot more fun :) . You just have to be careful.
