Was out yesterday afternoon and evening., Multi-species (perch, walleye, sauger ling) night, got out to where we wanted and about 4-5" of good ice with 3-4" slush and crust on top.

We really need a decent cold snapl to firm things up.

If anyone is out today, I'd love to hear about top-ice conditions. Slushy, water, etc.?

Anyone out over the weekend that can provide an update on the ice conditions they observed?

Hey, was fortunate enough to get my first hardwater session in last Sunday on about 3" of ice at Petrie Island. Pulled up ancouple dozen Crappie/Sunfish. Looking forward to getting out to Shirley's asap and will watch for ice reports so keep em coming. Cheers

Met some really great dudes today, they put us on the fish. Turned a potential skunk day into a 14 fish day (2 walleye, 5 sauger, 7 perch). Hoping to get back out there next year with them!! ; ) Was a pleasure meeting you guys! What a great day, I should have put on some sunblock on my face though ...
