basic logic ...

Flip-over - if you have the room for it in your vehicle (van or truck) and you like to "run and gun".
Hub - if you have a car, and your a "stay put kinda guy"

I shop at the BPS in Auburn N.Y. twice a year ... spring and fall. I went to the Toronto Store a few years ago with some buddies and was disappointed. As a previous poster stated ... they are stocked on a Regional basis, therefore you have to go where your intrests are .. hence Auburn ...big on fish...

I'll be using a couple of these ... for a real difference - no line twist on thise babies .. and the reel drops the bait/lure back down to a preset depth ... everytime.

I would focus on Tungsten micros. My buddy and I have been fishing exclusively with these last year for trout and crappy with great success. This year I'm moving up to a different type of lure .. from scandinavia - still basically in the same family, and the style of fishing, but based on the Hali J...

nanook ..

In my humble opinion .. no .. Basically heat is going to escape from the sides .. and if you have fished in a portable before ..which i know you have, you know that winds have a way of entering your portable and loosing heat anyways. Probably the best thing for those thermal tops are the nice warmis...

I purchased one two years ago for camping .. and the wife thought i was nuts!! Any who ... these little gizmos only work in windless environments, so don't think of using them in conjunction with a fan.

Just a few notes: If your destination advertises free reef fishing, as soon as you get to the resort, book your dates, they are usually swallowed up very quickly. Also, in some Carb. countries, reef fishing means hand lining, and that may be all you can do out there. Check tripadvisor for reviews an...
