WoW! What a nice gesture. I need more friends like you guys! I'm looking for a Tinny or two right now, I'm heading up to Nakina in Mid August. Apparently my buddy found a few lakes churning with walleye (they limited out in 12 mins!), but my good old Tinny blew away on Georgian Bay in a November sto...

I use Power Pro, but honestly haven't tried any other brands. I find the 50lb is the most managable size for baitcasters, and if you hook into an accidental monster muskie, you're prepared. I use 17lb mono backing and use a uni to uni knot to connect the two. Some people complain about the green dye...

Fenwick HMX HMXT76XH-T Telescopic Flipping Stick Le Baron $84.36 May not help you, as I haven't seen a flipping stick under 7', they're usually 7'6" in fact. Not sure why stores aren't stocking many flippin sticks anymore. Guess it's a niche market? Here is a good, somewhat dated link with a li...

CO Authority - Camera vs. Video Camera

Despite what any CO says is legal and illegal, they are interpreting regulations that do not state specifically weather you can or cannot take a picture of an OOS fish. It is simply not stated in the regulations. Most COs are great guys and have a very good understanding of existing regulations. The...

This is a waste of time, and I won't continue to try and change the minds of a group of stubborn fisherman. I was hoping that there might be a lesson found in the leaving of one of FH's most liked memebers. But it is clear to me that a group of members clearly want to repeat history and drive this b...

Good Luck Markus

Markus: I'm sure you'll be missed by many and you certainly don't deserve to be threatened. I do however know that you throw around more than your fair share of jabs and attitude, and your goodbye letter reads like the plight of an innocent victim. Maybe if you took ownership for some of the trouble...

I honestly don't know of any regs that prohibit the use of lights for navigation. If he wasn't using the lights to attract fish, its all good.

Rice Lake has some great muskie fishing. Try trolling in the slightly deeper northern end, casting points with bucktails. I've seen tons of skies on Sturgeon as well, fishing for bass. If you could find a shallow casting pattern in the weed choked south, you could clean up. I've only caught bass on ...
