I was wondering if anyone has had any success fishing for crappies on the Headpond at Arnprior, summer or winter. I have caught the odd one but would like to try and target them this winter. Thanks in advance for any info. and tips.

I'll confirm that a truck went thru the ice on the Headpond. I watched them haul it out on Saturday. I'll take the four wheeler out, but you won't catch me on the Headpond with a truck until we get some colder weather.

I'm currently in the market for a new fishfinder. I'm looking at the Humminbird 565, Eagle FishEasy 320Color, and the Eagle Fishmark series. Anybody care to comment on any of the above? Thanks in advance.
