I havent done any in Cuba, but I do have experience in the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. I mainly used Shrimp down there. I fish near a small harbour in a quiet section of Sarasota Bay and I'll use a full shrimp (live) on a single hook & weight rig. When fishing across the road (in the Gulf of Mexi...

Is that the mink lake up near Eganville?

I fished it a few years ago on a tight schedule with limited success. What is in it anyways? And does it produce pretty well?

Shirley's Bay

Went to Bits and Baits in the morning to pick up some minnows to try Mississippi Lake. Was told that the ice was patchy so got some directions to a real easy access point to Shirley's Bay. Washed a few lures and drowned some minnows, but enjoy a nice day on the water. Was real nice until early after...

Constance Lake

Just wondering if constance lake is safe to walk out on?

I've never been there, but I hear its a good spot for numbers. Anything other than hammer handles?

The best part of Cronzy's shows are trying to guess how many times he mentions "shore lunch" in an episode. The numbers are staggering.

I remember watching an episode where Bob Izumi tried to torpedo a muskie (i think it was in St. Clair) and it hit the back of the boat or the motor, most likely killing it. He was looking down behind the boat for a while and never touched the muskie again, just sorta was like... "OK.. lets get ...

About 10 years ago I bought some Banjo Minnows off some southern drawled, impatient woman. Never caught a thing on Banjo. Spinnerbaits have been sitting in my tacklebox for years and I've never thrown any. CC Wallydivers didn't do squat this year, but grapplers and minnows did OK. The bucks, plasti...

Biggest dub in the box this summer - Rapala X-Rap. Had high hopes at the start of the year with it, but I couldnt even get the snot rockets to chew on it. Second place goes to the Johnson Silver Minnow. I tried this as an alternative to the std spinnerbait when searching for active fish, but even t...

For bass I like Wacky Worms, any brand works, Senkos, Dingers, it doesn't matter. I find red lands a lot of big fish, but have had good success with both a chartruse and a darker green/black. For pike, I don't think anything works better than a spinnerbait. I like to keep the colours lighter, with m...

Thanks Bowzog...

I'll have to come in and get some more of those red senko's. I find they land the biggest fish, pulled a nice largie in burrits rapids on it.

Any tips on how to fish these lakes??
