Wow, fishn North Frontenac and not targeting trout, Nice Pike and Walters. Sounds like a fairly easy to access lake , i'll need to do some research. I have a seasonal camp on Palmerston , ice fished a couple lakes in winter for trout with little sucsess

it's too bad but even pre covid many places would not except any old mags, I used to hand these off to some young lads but now do their own thing. I have many as well that I would rather share than recycle

think jimmyv is talking about Constance Lake, there is a lodge there and they do charge parking. Used to be $5.00 , probably trying to make up for the lost revenue at the restaurant
