I have used Amsoil for a few years not just in my marine engine. Since my evinrude is oil injected I use the HP injector. For pre-mix you should look at Canadian Tire for one of these: Amsoil Saber Outboard http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/ato.aspx Amsoil Saber Professional http://www.amsoil.com/sto...

Sounds like you have the fuel line installed backwards. Make sure the arrow on the primer bulb points towards the engine.

Do you think that you could cast and retrieve those as well?

Thinking it might work on weed edges and over thick underwater growth.

I have the costco wetskins outfit and it has served me very well for I would say 3 - 4yrs. My only complaint is that it does not breath. So being a big guy sometimes I get just as wet on the inside from sweat.

I have a minkota charger. Its is rather simple. I hook up the battery, plug it in and turn it on. Its a 10amp charger. I do this whenever I'm between uses (1 time a day). I will charge it overnight, then in the morning I put it in the boat and use it. Not sure if this is correct but its just what I ...

I have everything but my motor hooked up to my deep cycle.

Not saying its right or wrong, just how I do it. I don't think I have any interference however my electronics are kind of old and I really don't know how to use them that well.

Its all choice and cost. For me I load mine on the trailer all the time since I only get to use it a couple weekends a month. However I know I will be at the cottage again the next week I leave it in the water. My concern is more about it still being there when I leave it in the water then the wear ...

I second the idea to check you oil tank. Make sure its got lots of oil. I had that happen with my Evinrude. When I would start bouncing the boat around the alarm would sound. Turned out it was just the oil sloshing around. As so as I topped it up no problem. On your console when you hear the alarm i...

There is a small grocery store in Seeley's Bay, and and LBCO. For restaurants if you want more then a mom and pop diner you need to make the trek to Gananoque. There is a nice mom and pop diner on the corner of Highway 15 and 32 (where you turn to head "Gan"). If you go on a tuesday (i thi...

Whitefish Lake - Partner?

Okay I know that there are a couple members here with places on Whitefish lake. I'm looking to connect with someone for some fishing over the long weekend. I will be at our cottage there Saturday - Tuesday. My regular fishing partner is my wife, and well, she is very pregnant and due in a few weeks,...
