I had a simular problem with one of my vex's a while back! turned out it was just a bad connection! The wire looked fine and the insulation was in good shape but the wire inside was broken! Also check the connections at the back of the unit and clean them up if necesary

Hey sorry to hear about your encounter You should see what happens when ya start mentioning little trout lakes! Some of these guys just loose it... sad really There's lots of fish for everyone! If everyone just kept to themselves and never shared information places like this wouldn't exist!

If the MNR are stocking fish in the lake then legally nobody can stop you from fishing in the lake! Ive seen way too many of these NT signs that are posted on crown land! Its just too easy for anyone to just go to the store and buy a sign and put it anywhere! These signs should be registered!

When it comes to trout fishing and ATV's there's really two types of fishermen! The ones with ATV's that can fish any lake they want  or the ones without that can't fish the lakes they want to!
A float tube is a huge asset and will help you catch more fish!

It can be as simple as a hook worm and sinker! By the way a grub on a hook can be a deadly bait at times  not to m...

I was thinking maybe some sort of sign would be good for the shack so other people would know to come by for a meet/greet on the ice. Everybody could come and see/talk since Petrie's the most popular spot. I'll have the loudspeakers hooked up outside again for a little fishin'/party music again! Yo...
