You know what Joco, some people have to go to church to find religion. The water is my church. Simplist way I can put it. I will never give up sportfishing because I love it to much but, when I am rushing to get the boat loaded, rushing to get out of the house, rushing to get launched, rushing to ge...

Wow, nice catches boys. Beats my almost going for a swim while wading in North Conway, no fish, fly in trees, broke off leader and a grumpy wife. Anyhow, I digress. Good job.

I have a 1997 CRV rated for 1000 lbs and I have been towing my Princecraft Starfish DLX SC with a 40 hp. I pack heavy always so my boat is usually very heavy and I have never had an issue. My buddy is a mechanic at OC and he told me that those ratings are set very conservatively so if that newer CRV...

I would think it would be 1 - 2 lbs heavier. Extra half inch of metal all the way down the auger. I just ordered the new e-z connect collar from Jiffy. Allows you to remove the auger from motor head for easier transport just by taking a pin out and pulling down on a collar (like on a drill driver). ...

On sale in the new Crappy Tire flyer. I have a 9" Legend Jiffy and I love it. If I had to do it over again, I would go smaller, 6 or 8 " just for the weight factor.

Two small dinks last year at Petrie on bottom. Quick pick then released. Pretty cool catching one through the ice since I have never caught one in the soft water season. I was amazed at how sharp their spines are.

Petrie is definately more accessible, especially if you are walking (no 4 wheeler or skidoo). Mississippi is awesome in summer, can be slow in winter and the area I fish in summer is quite a walk out, also, I dont know how thick the ice is on the Miss yet. Petrie is good for pike, walleye, the odd c...

I purchased the Mustang Integrity two piece two years ago. I did a fair amount of research but having said that, I was already partial to using the Mustang suits as we have them at work. The only thing that is a pain in the butt is that I bought a parka top vs a bomber style jacket. It is long and w...
