Re: Morrisburg government blinds

used to ask for a fax from St.Lawrence Parks for the rules and map. the rules were 2 hunters per blind-. we got hasseled by having more than 2 hunters around fire for lunch break so if you have more keep guns in the case. we never went back after the hassel from the game warden

Looking for ducks- cleaning geese

Buddy and I went for a brief duck hunt after work on Friday. He grew up hunting this creek and is usually good for ducks. We wanted ducks I convinced him to bring a few geese dekes-in case-he brought 3 floaters with the dozen duck dekes All to say- we only saw a few very high flying ducks- but we ha...

If you are near Osgoode, the launch at taylor park just west of the village or the kars boat ramp offers pretty good panfish for young ones. I have seen just about everything caught at Kars ramp- catfish, bass, walleye, muskie and all the panfish a dad could handle with 3 young kids -single hook, wo...

1st water goose hunt of the season

Back at it again My group did the season first foray for geese on the water on Saturday- what a day. Normally for this set up a south wind makes for challenging hunting as the birds can't get in the decoys and they use their american passports for the lee shore.. Out shore blind of willows was much ...

I think the more hunters you speak with all have trespassing stories. Yes I have had the discussion with strangers in my tree stands, common response is they had permission from the land owner- when advised that I'm the owner they usually leave . I have had strangers see me in tree in blaze orange a...
