Hi Margie

Hi

I don't want to seem too familiar since we have never had an exchange, but.........isn't this why they invented the "ROCKET FISHING ROD".? It made no sense until now

Looking for lure

Hey folks I have been trying to find one of my favorite pike lures. I think it is called a "creek chub". It is a jointed lure ( 6" - 8"), metal lip, usually green with verticle lines on the side. Lost my last one last year and can't find them. Any idea where I can get these local...

Winterized Merc 90 ??????

Hi My boat was stored for the winter at CSM in Gatineau. (they have since gone bankrupt). My 2006 4 stroke Mercury 90 was to be winterized. I just got the boat back. I am not sure what they have done to the motor. Probably has antifreeze in it now? Any advice how to get this back in working order qu...

Open Season on the Ottawa - pike & walleye

Hi

Both Quebec and Ontario regulations show that the season opens on May 15th. I have read several times on this site that the season opens on May 9th. What am I missing here?

Thanks

Centre Sports Motorises Gatineau

Hi guys Just a quick note. I was planning on getting my boat out of storage in a week or so, only to find out that "Centre Sports Motorises Gatineau" is in receivership. It would seem as if the trustee in receivership moved in last monday. They are the most local Legend dealer and I would ...

Hi guys

My legend boat has two livewells but they are not aerated. Can I buy/install something that will keep the water aerated?

Thanks

Don't knock what you haven't tried!!!

I live in England for a few years and grew up learning to fish like that. Just to add to the mystique....in cold weather these guys KEEP THEIR MAGGOTS WARM BY KEEPING A HANDFULL AT A TIME IN THEIR MOUTH, THEN RETURNING THE WARM MAGGOTS TO THE "MAGGOT HOLDER" PUTTING MORE FORTUNATE MAGGOTS ...

Rideau Musky Girth

Thought I would kick in my two cents worth. If you look at the muskie I got a month ago in the gallery, she was 53" x 24". While mine was a bit longer, I don't mind saying that she did not have anywhere near the girth of this Rideau River beauty. I think you are looking at 26" - 28&qu...

Hiding the location

I understand why you keep that spot a secret....wouldn't want anyone to steal your 'bait catching' spot.....

Did she put up much of a fight?
Beauty! Congrats! Did she put up a good fight?
For sure. Caught her in shallow water surrounded by rushes....starting to sound familiar? Took about ten minutes since she had nowhere to go except under the boat....
