Heading to Cornwall this weekend and will have some spare time. Is there anywhere to get out fishing this time of year around the cornwall area.

Lower Buckhorn Kawarthas

Giong to be on this lake for a few days next week. Looking for any info on Boating Hazards ( Rock ect. ) and any fishing techneques that may work better than others. Thanks .

Are there any large lakers to be had. Just wondering to determine the size of williams that I should be using. Last weekend up on Temogami we found that agressively jiggin a 6" williams with a big shinner or chub was what worked the best for the big boys.

Sunny Hills resort ( Bark Lake )

Hey all hawk talkers. A group of friends are heading up to Bark Lake in the Barrys Bay area for this coming weekend. Any info and or suggestions of tackle or tactics would be much appreciated. How are the lake conditions ? will a Quad work is a sled the ticket. Thanks in advance.

Here is a site that has a list of cottages for rent in all areas including the Kawarthas. www.cottagesontheweb.com Don't elliminate Scugog from your choices. Lake Scugog has had good ice conditions this year, even though we have had some warm spells. The fishing itself has also been good for the most part. Ive noticed more huts on the lake this year than in previous years. That maybe to the fact that Lake Simcoe and the B.O.Q. have not had good ice for ...
