I have used GULP alive 3" black leeches with some success,but Im told teh minnows are awesome!!
I also think theyd be great for ice fishing

well I dont mind driving some to a proven place guys if you care to share...just want my son to catch something of course we prefer walleye but pike is nice too

Went to my buddies cottage last weekend in georgian bay,the past 3 yrs there they always caught between 30-40 pickerel in 2 days,this year the weather was much warmer and the bite was slow but we managed to land a few small ones and had a surprise visitor from 2 foxes,the one lied down in the drivew...

well it wasnt a productive day,we went saturday to balsam for reasons of distance + weather and the kids hockey later in the day but anyhow when we left(7am) it wasnt raining at all,soon as we launched the boat it started to rain,so we waited it our for about 30 mins,then we hit the water as it stop...

thanks guys, yea Im going to Ottawa but not til Nov 23rd weekend....we just wanted to try some place different is all and dont mind a 3 hr drive,I no BOQ is the place but wanted to test new waters.....anyhow I think we decided to try balsam lake ,let ya no how we make out

heading out saturday "somewhere" fishing probably launching the boat about 730am and fish till late afternoon so most will be day light fishing hours,of course walleye is on the top of the list but would like to no if anyones been to any of these and /or what would you choose this weekend,...

there is a new GULP product out with leeches in some special kind of liquid,you get about 30 of them but they are costly ($25) but when your done you place them back in the container with liquid and they can be reused again,guy at my local store told me they have had plenty of luck with these so I b...

is this the white lake up near renfrew /arnprior area?
if so just wondering how the fishing is in this lake and just exactly what species are in it? walleye:)
