To get a lil off topic....I heard that lake trout can repressurize no matter how fast that you reel them in, even from very deep water and that they are one of the only freshwater fish that can do that. any truth to this?

I was at the Credit in Erindale park for 4 hours on Saturday, but no luck. I drifted different colored roe bags all day with no luck, still can't figure out why. maybe too heavy a leader? But i did see 6-7 fish landed and another dozen lost. People don't seem to want to give you tips....very secreti...
