I find that happens is that I do that and then I start reeling it in then I stop and check again if it goes squirley and most of the time it does so I flip the spool again then again. I imagine that drinking while driving a boat increases the chances of death, regardless of the surroundings. I'm just guessing, but I bet there are statistics to support that. For me it'll be lake trout, then pike/walleye once that season opens, then bass for the rest of the summer, then after bass season back to pike/walleye

Open ice on Muskrat Lake is supposed to happen by April 15, according to one other FH'er on here...
