Holy crap that was amazing!

I'm heading to Mazinaw Lake with the kayak tomorrow to do some fishing and also check out the pictographs on Mazinaw Rock. I'm not familiar with this area at all. Does anybody know where can I tip in with the kayak? Is there a boat launch or a public beach?

About 20 years ago (good lord time flies) in spring before the locks were open, there were about 9 carp trapped in the lock at Carleton U. Swimming in endless circles. So I suppose they had been there all winter and survived. Coincidentally, I'm going to try my hand at carp fishing this weekend near...

Yes, the laubch at waba museum. The sign lists where you can buy passes. I bought a day pass at the general store at white lake.

Just an fyi, you now need a parking pass at the public boat launch at the north end of White Lake.

Single-day pass: $10
Season pass locals: $50
Season pass non-local: $75
