The 83/200 is accomplish by the unit not the transducer, so if you have a old transducer it will work with you're HDS 5 if you don't have one just buy the regular Lowrance 200khz.

For those that need to have the latest trails and upgrade there GPS you can contact: http://www.macarte.ca/
and they can update youre gps with the latest maps. The site is in French but on top left corner you will see a # to call for the English speaking client. They provide a excellent service.

But for now the analogic speedo is helping a lot; it's more accurate then a digital that goes from .7 to 1.3, then .9 etc...
If you go 1KPH it will stay right on it giving you a precise speed.

It is the XP Pro that takes most of the space. If you still have a XP disc you can also take a external hard drive and run the XP on it and installe the emulator on that external drive. On my lap top I have a 80 Gig disc. and I have enough left.
