Re: White Lake
The thing with white lake that I have always found nice is fish movement is not drastic. You can find fish in the same places year after year. I have never had a bad day on that lake.

Re: Port hope questions? Any help appreciated.
Varies depending on a bunch of factors but try to avoid right in Port Hope and venture to the streams a bit further out of town. Not as crowded and more enjoyable.

Re: Boat Launch On Wolfe Lake

Re: MS Bassin report and pics
Well final weigh in completed and we were in heaven with our placing. 5th place out of 50 teams.....not to shabby. Best part was my entire goal was to at least beat Team Dufour and that we did. Great write up. Team Dufour was very happy to see you finish the way you did. We'll be looking for you ne...

Well as usual Matt and the gang ran an amazing event and as far as I am aware there was no glitches or hiccups had except I guess for one boat ge...

Re: Nipissing Lake
May sound dumb but pike in that lake are in every bay and along most shore line drop offs...Big spinners will work well there. Again sounds pretty basic but it is in that lake for them. Im pretty sure if you try this one of you should walk away with a 35+" at least.

Re: Trout fishing
It will be hard to pull this info from people as trout lakes are a special place for most. You can google trout stocking Eastern Ontario and it will pull up most lakes in the area with trout but like the other poster said it all depends on what species of trout you are looking for. In the calabogie ...

Re: Been awhile
I would be very much interested in joining you for a trout outing! I have also never fished the Miss, or Clayton! Lots of business travel coming up, but could hopefully fit something in, especially as the weather starts to cool down and the trout bite comes back up... Give me some dates Scark and I...

Re: Mississippi
Like Shawn said it is a lake with very little effort needed to catch fish. Walleye may be a bit more finicky but really if it is a hump, bump, bowl or bed it all works out well. Far end of the lake from the highschool has been doing really well as of late but you cant go wrong in the narrows, or bay...

Re: Peterwhite Lake
Loophole the whole north end of the lake is on crown land with plenty of access from the 6th of Darling end. I first fished that lake in the 70's when we used to access it off the cottage road and drive right on the lake. That hydro corridor off of 511 has always been used by the public without iss...
