Sell the Gift Cert and head over to Ed's and check out the Dobyns. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D For finesse, 4' worms, drop shots and shakey heads, I use a Champion 702sf. A little over the $200 price mark. There is always the Savvy series in the SS692SS or the SS702SS. The 703's would be better suited for ...

Paddletales has been doing a great job introducing the line to Canadian anglers all over Canada. There are lots of great things coming from Gary. I keep my boat out on La...

Just about every rod company makes a "frog" specific rod. The "norm" for frog/toad rods is 7'-7'6". Actions range from Med/Heavy to Heavy and most will have a X-Fast tip. The X-Fast tip will launch a frog/toad a mile and allow you to work a frog properly. Normally you do not...

Canadian companies are getting tougher on handling products for warranty that were purchased from non-Canadian sources. All of a sudden your private branded reel that has broken has to b...

You might want to give Charles up at Whitefish Lodge a call. The lodge is situated about an hour north of Ottawa close to the town of Gracefield. Charlie does not have a great web site, even when it is up and running so phone contact is the best. He can be reached at 819-463-2629 and the best times ...

Glad you and your son had a great time officer. :D I'll be heading up the third week of August to put the hurt on the bass. GuinnessGuy, I try and get at least one outing for whites each year and have found that a 3/4 to 1oz Hopkins Shorty does the best job. Vertical presentation in 150-200fow. Char...

Ed at Paddletales has the Owner's and the Hitchhikers. The Owners are great with the Centering Pin. Super easy to make sure they screw right into the middle of the bait.

Takes a while to figure the lake out but once you do you will be there a lot. Ian Five bucks is more than reasonable for a lodge to charge. Th...
