Boat numbers

Bought a new boat this spring and got my registration paperwork in the mail the other day, I was wondering if anyone can recommend an Ottawa business that they have used to get their boat numbers printed? Picked up a do it yourself kit and it looks awful.

Cheers,

Muskie Fisherman Wanted

Hey All, I'm in my second season seriously targeting Muskie and so far I have not done too bad! I got seven last year in about as many trips with a 40" PB. So far my biggest difficulty is finding other people to go out fishing for muskie as most of my friends/fishing partners are not set up for...

#9 - Don't go and share the host's fishing spots that they were nice enough to bring you to on a public forum. Been burned on this one and it has kind of soured me on the idea of offering seats to strangers unless I'm fishing a well known spot like Shirley's Bay.

Re: Walleye Season Opening Weekend

You win some and you lose some...and that's why they call it fishing. On the bright side at least you shared good time with three generations of anglers and IMO that's better then any fish you may have caught! Thanks for sharing

Re: Pike/Walleye Opener on the Larry?

Thanks Riverdog. I was hoping to target both eyes and pike, but if I find the walleyes still spawning as mentioned in another thread here I'll focus on the pike. Anyone have any lure recommendations for larger pike? I like catching big pike but absolutely hate hammer handles lol

Pike/Walleye Opener on the Larry?

I wasn't able to get out for the pike/walleye opener this weekend but planning a trip later in the week. I'm excited as its been a loooong winter and I picked up a new Lund this spring that I'm dying to get wet. Just curious if anyone else went out on the St. Lawrence this past weekend and how the p...

Re: Best technique for negative walleye

Bottom bounce a walleye rig with a small bright blade or half a crawler on a slow death hook. Yannick was also correct about changing the trolling speeds if you know where they are sometimes a dead slow troll (just fast enough to spin the blades) can be what they want.

Re: Best spring walleye crankbaits for the Ottawa River

In the spring early, i like to use an x-rap clown color pattern. They are a little pricy but effective. That was so 3 years ago...and you caught way more bass then anything. I really don't see you getting many walleyes on a regular x-rap as they are a very shallow running bait, unless you find some...

Re: Online prices for new boats?

I just bought a new Lund this spring from White Lake Marina for a great price! I price shopped probably about 20 different retailers/dealers from Rockland to Kingston and they had the best pricing by far and so far they have been a pleasure to deal with. Give them a call!

Re: Manotick Mill

That area is not what it used to be. Back say 10years ago there were decent fish there but now a days with the fishing pressure you are better off on other less fished sections of the river.

Anyone know if any Ottawa area retailers carry the REALIS SPINBAIT 80 yet? SAIL and Labarrons never heard of them....

Re: Fall Walleye Patterns - Ottawa River

Last weekend I was getting them in 20-30 FOW around Wendover. Bottom bouncers rigged with a crawler harness. Harnesses with a green blade got the most action.
