Fish Finder expert?

Hi Haven't posted in a loonnng time... So I bought a new boat. The boat came with a Lowrance HDS5 gen2 graph with a navionics chip in it, and it works fine. The HDS5 is mounted near the helm position...the boat is a Crestliner 1650 pro tiller. The transducer looks like a standard wide angle skimmer ...

Local bass tournament for first timer?

Hi all, Have been away from this forum for awhile. I am looking for advice on a good bass tournament close to ottawa that I can try this year...my 13 year old son is super keen on trying competitive fishing...he's a fishing maniac! Most of our fishing so far has been for musky, and sometimes walleye...

I'd keep bowhunting!
Nice bucks...and with the bow only area, the pumpkin army will likely send more that way...I'd try rattling before those bucks lock down with does!
good luck!

What a beast! It may have lived...but they certainly should have handled it better, (and quicker), and brought it out to deeper colder water to release. You can see right at the end of the vid the fish is starting to kick a little stronger, but it is pointed into weeds in about 11" of water...h...

My decision Crestliner 1800 Super Hawk From what I saw....it was the best Bang for the Buck, and has just about everything you could ask for...In fact there is not one thing I would add or change. thanks for the replies... I think it must be the seals, because I did get a bit of grinding noise. When I pulled the prop off there was some line in there too, so I guess I need new seals... Is Blackburn hamlet the only service place? I heard they were really good from a guy tonight on the Rideau. I...

If it "totally eliminates tangles" then why do they keep showing line on the reel all tangled up?

Trolling Motor Vibration?

Hi all
Just a quick Q...My Minn Kota Maximizer (bow mount) seems to have developed a nasty vibration/wobble at certain RPMs...
Could it be that I just need to replace the prop?
I'm worried that the actual shaft is bent...if so, can it be fixed? where?
Thanks in advance for the replies
Cheers!
