there are nice walleye and killer pike in there... If you head up the north end of the lake there is a shallow bay with massive pike in there, I hooked on one and it destroyed my reel, it might have been a musky, I didn't get a good look at it, but I fought it for about 20mins and most of that my ro...

Old 40 horse evinrude propeller

Hi all,

I need a propeller for my old 62 or 63 40 horse evinrude motor. I was out last night and it went on me, luckily I could still use it slowly to get me back home, but I can't go too fast with it.

Anyway if anyone knows where I can get a cheap propeller I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Peter

I hear there are a lot of bass in there, but don't know about walleye. If anyone could share a bit of info we would a...

Christie Lake

Hi all, Been a while, but am back... I have been out to Christie lake in Perth a couple of time in the last 2 weeks and have had some good luck with the Walleye's. When you go you have to cross a very old wooden bridge to get to the trailer park where you can launch from for $5. It's a decent launch...

yeah, I guess the water was pretty low, I went back to the edge with my rear wheels, but the boat wasn't even in the water...

If someone knows how to get to another launch for the madawaska, I'm sure we would all appreciate it.

Thanks

Yeah sorry, the boat launch is the one just up from the damn as you head into arnprior. When you pass the damn off hwy17 on your left, take a left the next set of lights and go down that road, it's a dead end, and there is a very rough launch, it could use a good truck load of gravel to fix it up......

So much for the Madawaska yesterday

Well I went to the Madawaska hoping to catch some eye's, but I couldn't even launch my boat the ramp is so bad. I don't know if any of you have used it this year, but there is a drop of about 8 - 10 inches from where someone tried to put asphalt down. I got the trailer down, but if I had tried to pu...
