Nice day out there,congrats. I had a friend stay last weekend,they got into fish also. The fish are in close to Picton and also way east.

I have 10 Plano boxes stuffed with cranks,mostly seperated by lure design,shad baits,long baits ,deep divers ,floaters etc.I have the dive curves for those baits written on the plano box top,so i can reference line out and depth with a quick glance. OD,same speed but fished water 40 to 80ft deep. Lots of empty water out there. It pays to go find some active fish.

Well,thanks for joining us Mike and Phil,always glad too have you guys aboard 8) :D :D As a final cap to this trip,we had an excellent weather day Monday,warm with a little walleye chop 8) . I managed an 11lber and an 8.5 lber in the morning and Sue came out after lunch and got our final Eye at 6lbs...

Spring fishing is also good around late may off Thompsons and Sherman Pt along with Glen Island. Troll your stickbaits over 30 to 50ft of water dowm 10 to 20ft.Fish up to 30 inches but alot thinner fish,up to 9,10 pounds. A problem I found over the summer was a primer bulb that was cracking from sun exposure.Its something you would normally miss,so I would inspect it closely. I replaced both and now carry a spare.

This is just an observation,but having seen the lack of interest in serving and overseeing the Bay of Quinte Walleye stocks, admittedly one of the top 3 walleye destinations in the world, we have a mouse catching post that gets 3 times as many views as this post.
