Water temps - Rideau River

Anyone been out on the Rideau and have water temps they can share? With the price of fuel these days, an answer to this question would save me like $40 lol.

Re: White Lake

Tell Doug and Kate @ T-Bell that Eric from CRA says HI! :) White Lake is a great place for walleye. But ensure you are aware of the unmarked rock in the bay where T-Bell is - it took out a few skeg's and props this year already. Someone there could likely point it out to you. If you head out/left to...

Re: CHARITY Big Bass Event! September 23rd.

42 spots now filled! There is plenty of room for more. The raffle itself should be reason enough to come out, as we have a whole whack of great packages and prizes put together already. Corporate donations are coming in, including one donation of $1,000 itself! We are aiming to raise a lot of money ...

Re: Murphy's Point Shore Fishing (info needed)

If you go to the main beach, facing the water, there's a point on your left. If you're ok with it, wade to about waist deep straight towards the back of the bay, and cast as far as you can. There's a great drop-off there that goes down to over 30' deep. I personally witnessed a father and teenage so...

Re: 13 Fishing Rods

I have 3 of the Omen Black rods, but the older gen-1 style. 2 of the 7'1" MH models, and 1 of the 7'6" MH model. The 7'1" MH model is my favourite rod - I find the action very versatile and for the price, was unbeatable! Do I have more sensitive rods? Yes (Dobyns DX). Do I have more e...

Re: Jock River Landing (Ottawa)

Bobbers w/ worms and small hooks - we all got very small smallmouth but they were fun. My son caught a crayfish on his worm... he was surprised and exceited and a bit puzzled - it w...
