Hi Ya Guys
has anybody built a set of planer boards from the plans at the URL listed below. If so how did they work?

Handheld GPS unit
Hello Guys
am looking to pick up a handheld GPS unit. One that can do double duty, fishing Lake Ontario and hunting. Any recommendations.
Thanks

Downriggers vs. Downriggers
Hello Guys Just bought myself a new ride. 18 ft. Starcraft aluminum open bow :D . Recently retired and planning on some fishing in Lake Ontario to hopefully get in on the salmon and trout available. Have been looking at Canon and Big Jon electric downriggers, both are probably excellent, but would l...

GPS Recommendation
Looking to get a handheld GPS unit that I can use for fishing. Also like it to do double duty for hunting. Perhaps one that I can plug into a power source on my boat. Am I dreaming or is there such a unit that can do double duty as described, and not cost me a left lung? Not too familiar with GPS ot...

Thanks for the info guys. Gave a inline board a try in the Ottawa yesterday, just to see what it can do. My God it must have been 30 to 40 feet off the boat. Stuck on a Deep Rapala Taildancer No. 11 and actually caught a Sauger that was smaller than the board. Looking forward to trying them on Quint...

Planer Boards
Got a chance to spend a few day on the Bay of Quinte. Was wondering if I should invest in a planer board. Have read a lot about them, (mostly mfg. hype) but never given them a try. Would appreciate some info by fisherman that have actually used them. A little early ( for the big ones ) but I have to...

Despite all this controversy about the roads and charges for using them, I booked a couple of nights at Mosque Lake Lodge. Love to try different trout water. Will take my camera and hopefully get to use it, try to do a report when I get back. Anybody have any advice or tips for fishing the lake. Wil...

Bay of Quinte
Got to go to Belleville for a few days, the week of the 17th of Sept. Will haul my boat, got to have something to do in the evenings. Is that too early for the walleyes down there? Any suggestions?
Thanks
