Seaguar Fluorocarbon in Ottawa

Anyone know where I can get 4lb Seaguar Fluorocarbon filler spools in Ottawa? Doesn't particular matter which version of Seaguar as long as it's 4lb.

Thanks,

I caught a quite a few of them when I was travelling in Alaska and the Yukon. Anything that's black will work. Try swinging a #10 black Woolly Bugger or #10 black Doc Spratley. For surface action try a #12 black Humpy or #12 black Elk Hair Caddis.

After losing the felt off my boots in BC, I finally got around to replacing them with new set of Korkers with the interchangeable soles. I tried them out on the weekend in NY with the felts. They worked well (as expected). Today I bought the new 'klingon' sticky rubber soles with carbide studs and t...

I hang mine to dry and hang them when storing. If they're breathable waders it's best not to fold them when storing for long periods. Folding them will stress the seams and can cause them to leak.

Yes, for sure. We'll get out fishing soon. If it hadn't been for mothers day last weekend, I would have made it out.

Yaking on The Rideau

For those who don't know, I'm back in the Ottawa area for the time being. Today Gwright and I headed out with the kayaks on the Rideau for some pike & walleye on the fly. We worked a number of current lines and weedy shallow bays but couldn't stir up any action. The weather made up for the lack ...

Hi Streamtripper, The fishing in Lake Clear can be excellent. There are some very large smallmouth bass in that lake. I've never stayed at the Opeongo Mountain resort but I have launched there. The facilities seemed to be clean to me. As for the beach I've never swam there but I know the water in la...

Yes, there are a number of back sloughs on the Fraser where carp congregate. A couple of the guys from the shop I work at target carp on the fly.
