Sounds great!
For what it's worth, I do not find 20% fat content high enough in fresh sausage for our household, and am usually closer to 30%.

Re: Got a question? Let's hear it!
I've got one that's been on my mind a lot lately. Regarding regs and protecting big fish. There are a number of lakes west of Ottawa, where you are only allowed 2 walleye and they have to be bigger than 20" (roughly). Yet zone wide, you are only allowed 1 over 18" and 3 smaller ones. I'm w...

Fizzed traveler and a wishbone fish
Not online much anymore but had a very interesting day on the water... here's a couple of fish stories lol. My Father in law caught this mid 4 today. As soon as I went to poke it with the scale, I knew right away it was a fish I had seen recently as the hole was still there. Not only was the scale h...

Re: Big Game Draw
Also got a doe tag in 64A. What part of the unit you hunting Smitty? In the east end, towards the river, there seems to be lots of deer. I wouldn't call it high, as in 2004-2006 high, but seems to be normal. Good luck this fall!

Re: taxidermist needed for bear head
Dan Callan of Callan's Taxidermy near Cornwall did my deer 2 years ago... he had some bears there that looked really good. Would be worth checking out for sure.

Re: Spring Mineral Sites
I spent the winter doing some online reading, and found a mix for a diy mineral spot, all stuff I bought from ritchies feed and seed, produced nearly 150lbs to put out in different spots all for about the cost of 2 bags of the name brand stuff, I'm gonna watch it and put the cameras up, if it works...

Re: Foggy morning ghosts.
Congrats!
Pretty sure I hunted the same morning and that fog was thick! I was walking back to the truck through an open field and busted some hens that were also in the field probably only 40 yards away before we saw each other. Was a neat experience for sure.

Re: Spring Mineral Sites
I put out 5 sites back mid April. Some day soon I'll donate some blood and go check em. All 5 are new sites, so we will see if there's any activity. I love that brand of blocks, but always use the sugar beet crush. Every one of my mineral sites has one. Looking forward to following the hellbear repo...

Friggen love it. Watched the first 4 twice, settling into number 5 right now.
Team Sask is my fav at the moment. Team ON makes me want to pull my hair out haha. Gotta wonder if they chose their teamates?
Maybe the show is edited to make Taro look bad... I know there's some history there lol!
