Not sure about the Ottawa River but we went to a fishing derby on Calabogie Lake last weekend and not one walleye was entered in the contest.

We were out on White Lake last weekend. 3 or 4 inches of water on the ice after all the rain and mild spell but about 10 inches of ice. Should be much better going now with the recent cold spell.

Hey guys, not sure which direction you're coming from but Gourley's variety just outside of Renfrew on Hwy 132 has minnows. Only a 20 minute trip to Calabogie. (613-432-5093) just to make sure.

Holy crap! I'd hate to fall out of the boat netting a fish, a little leery even bending over the edge to net one.
