yep theres open water by the gas bar on the ottawa river i dont know if its over the ice or wats up but we should be out on the boats soon

if you launch your boat from buchams go around the horn and you will see a horseshoe type bay skip that and go into a channel it sould be 100 feet or so then you will see the fist one but if you keep going there is a second one with a great view over the river

next saterday which is the 22nd there is a ice derdy starting at 11 to 4 in buckhams bay on the ottawa river it is sponcered by baview bait the first prize is a jiffy ice drill thanks alot guys and i hope to see you there on the ice
