All i can really say is the ottawa river is a bit of a cruel mistress!
Fish seem to be everywhere yet nowhere all at the same time!
BUT it can spit out some awesome fishing duribg the right times!

6'8 to 7'2 spinning medium action fast tip is awesome for just about everything out here you can use it for a jig and minnow topwaters dropshots jerbaits tubes flukes...the list goes on.. its one of my most used sticks unless im flipping for largenouth then i like my 7'5 heavy!

that derby is always a lot of fun! I was the leader until around 1230 when my 3.7lber slowly got knocked down until i was out off the leader board around 3 :evil: came out of the money by just a couple ounces! way she goes :lol: :lol: the 500 dollar cabelas gift card i won in the 5050 made up for it...
