A big what-if obviously but still.......... As for U-Haul, 50 cents per KM to Sudbury and back, plus gas, plus 20$ a day, kinda steep. ...

I don't think the MNR would spend the manpower for 2 stranded pike....... but if you wanna go, it's right next to the parkway bridge (now called the Ardeth woods bridge), right hand side at the first bend. Some big turtles also, it's about 1 foot at it's deepest.

Just got back from petrie. Stayed there long enough to know that nothing was hitting. Went to Greels creek after with the same luck but there was some forrest-land that had been flooded and the receding water cause some pools and there were pike land-locked into these pools. Was kinda sad to see the...

I agree with Markus on the slow retreive of some topwater lures, but others with some weight (frogs with 90 degree lips), will need quick and immediate retreiving in order to stay on the surface. In order to fish these you have to use a baitcasting and a solid rod. With topwater fishing the strike i...

hey, my buddy has a calcutta, and well, after trying it out, I had to get some equipment of higher quality. Although the price tag for the calcutta exceeded my budget, I settled for a Shimano Cardiff on a Berkley Series one rod. At first, I loved the rod, but the reel was giving me trouble. I finall...

I got mine pulled out a few years back, all three of them... Since we don't use them anymore, I beleive this is a sign of evolution...hehehe! I might be an exeption to the rule, but I had no swelling, plus I ate solid food the day after. Tylenol 3's will help alot, too bad you didn't get Demerol, be...

I've been fishing Petrie for over 10 years, and each year, the bite is really good from first ice until mid to end of january, then it just slows down alot up until march. The cold probably didn't help much, but trust me, I strongly doubt that you will have success the way you probably did in late d...
