You need an adapter from humminbird for your hand held. The adapter plug goes in the base for your unit. It should have connections to power so you dont eat up the batts. I got one for my matrix and love it for speed and its easyer to make waypoints.

There is the bait shack in the parking lot by the jetty or a bait and tackel shop on us 1 across from aquaboggin soco bay bait and tackel. Had a little luck last year with clams

Your best bet is chunk mackeral from shore with a heavy weigh and wait stripers and bluefish are the most common. for a charter go to pine point and look around they go out of the river there. Looks good but would a pin be better than a wing nut for the ridge pole if not put some extras in your gear bag :D I can drop a wing nut in to the darndist spots when my hands are warm.

You want to use water distilled is prefered and not acid, but if you use acid
make sure you store the battery on a piece of wood. :D :D

When a battery is charges the water is what is going to evaporate and not the acid
